STATWORKS business was initially set up as a Mathematics and Science division of an IT arm of a major consultancy engineering organization. The founder, Dr NJ Sreedharan, a recognized expert in Financial Engineering and Project Management soon has it established as a source of statistical and mathematical software center not only in Malaysia but also the South East Asia region.
By the year 2000, new solution were added to the range to create a comprehensive Business Intelligence and Numerical Analytics Solution , offering various categories of software relevant to scientists, engineers, business analysts and researchers. A strategic decision was made to incorporate the Mathematics and Science division as a comprehensive Numerical Analytics Solution business, and thus Statworks (M) Sdn Bhd was incorporated. Today, STATWORKS offers various categories of software and solution by partnering with Insightful, Decisioneering, PTC, Visual Numerics, Statsoft, Texas Instruments and other leading software developers.
This year, two new office were established; STATWORKS (S) Pte Ltd, incorporated in Singapore and STATWORKS (M) Sdn Bhd Branch Office (Kota Kinabalu, Sabah) has been registered in Sabah, Malaysia.
